ICLD’s Knowledge Centre will receive a boost starting in 2017. The unit has a number of tasks, including providing financial support for research into local democracy, assisting the development of ICLD’s partnerships and training programmes on the basis of the latest research, and bringing together theoretical researchers and practitioners.
