ICLD programmes open for application
Three of our Advanced International Training Programmes are now open for application:
“Women’s Political Leadership”, “Public Financial Management and Local Economic Development” and “Leadership in Local Governance”.
Are you a local government official willing to upgrade your professional toolbox with necessary tools for financing local development?
Are you a female political leader at local or regional level feeling prompted to getting empowered with improved leadership skills and strengthened as an agent of change?
Are you an elected politician, a grassroots organisation representative and a public official, constituting a team which endeavors to make governance in your municipality equitable and inclusive?

As a participant of our International Training Programme you will have the opportunity to work on a challenge from your own local government, and get support and knowledge from experts, mentors and colleagues from other local governments.

Women’s Political Leadership

Leadership in Local Governance
“Leaders/change agents in municipalities who passionately seek to produce change in their respective municipalities cannot afford to miss this programme. It provides lessons to leaders on principles of how to effectively effect change in their municipalities to surmount problems in particular aspects of their societies, issues surrounding sustainable development, accountability and democracy. In addition, participants are given exposure to different models of development administration and change management through visits to various countries including Sweden.”

Public Financial Management and Local Economic Development
