Project: Together for the influence for our young and old to improve based on climate change
Strängnäs Municipality and its partner Entebbe Municipal Council in Uganda are planning a one-year project to strengthen youth participation in environmental and climate decision-making. The project will empower young people, to actively contribute to local environmental strategies through community engagement, clean-up campaigns, and climate awareness activities. The project will also promote inclusion, accessibility, and political commitment to climate action in Entebbe municipality. It will indirectly benefit youth aged 15–30 and marginalized groups in Entebbe by improving representation, access, and influence in sustainability work. Over time, the broader community will benefit from this project through more equitable involvement in shaping local climate strategies in the municipality.
