Management and implementation of a strategic plan

This is a three-year period project in the field of local administration and local democracy resulting from the cooperation from Hörby and Karasburg municipalities respectively.

The project’s goal is to improve on the municipal governance and administration and in particular, the planning system in Karasburg municipality.

The objective is to develop a detailed, timely and advanced strategic planning system with the aim of improving on relevant service provision for all the municipal services. This includes water and sewage system infrastructure among others.

The activities planned for include study visits and trainings in strategic planning and management. The target groups are the relevant municipal employees, and all those that in one way or another are involved in decision making within the municipality. At the end of the project period, it is hoped that there will be a well structured strategic plan for the entire municipality with regard to service provision and that the quality of services provided will be substantially improved.
