    I början av december 2016 träffades ett 40-tal politiker från 11 länder i Ugandas huvudstad Kampala. Majoriteten av dem för att avsluta ICLD-utbildningen Local Political Leaders – Capacitating Women in Politics, ett ledarskapsprogram riktat till folkvalda politiker på lokal och regional nivå. Flera svenska politiker deltog också i rollen som mentorer.
