The programme focuses on local financial development using principles of equity, participation and transparency.

All cohorts are carried out in close cooperation with the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF).

The following countries are eligible for the programme: Botswana, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
