This hybrid Local Democracy Talk brings together voices and experiences from across the WPL programme to explore how women’s political leadership can contribute to change beyond the individual leader – in communities, institutions and local democracy. Drawing on twelve years of WPL experience, the conversation will reflect on leadership, democratic impact, networks and solidarity, as well as what it takes to sustain change beyond individual political mandates and programmes.
