Meet our Alumni

John holds a bachelor’s degree in Development Studies and a Diploma in Urban Development Studies from the Institute of Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS) in the Rotterdam, the Netherlands and has a passion in coordination and execution of projects that lead to sustainable socio – economic development. With several years of experience in managing development projects and organizing major national and international events, training programmes, workshops and conferences, John has served as project coordinator of large multidisciplinary teams organizing and implementing development programmes, capacity building in East Africa countries  of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi.

John has been involved in ICLD programmes since 2015 and has been a Mentor (Kenya) for ICLD –ITP programme, IPL/LLG programme since inception in 2017.

Kabwe, a Zambian is a holder of a Master’s degree in Project Management and a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. Having an engineering background, industries, innovations and infrastructure and having sustainable cities is her area of interest.

She has served as a project manager and engineer for various developmental projects for both the local government of Zambia and for private industries.

Kabwe was part of the ICLD-ITP programme that ran from 2019-2020.
