Application for Municipal partnership is always made digitally, in English via “My Pages”. Under each category below, you can see what questions you will have to answer in the digital application. There you also find more information or explanations on the questions.
To submit an application to the programme, you must certify that you have read, understood and anchored the following documents with the participants indicated in the application:
- Guidelines for the Municipal partnership programme with associated budget guidelines
- ICLD Code of conduct
Inception
- Application questions – inception
- A Letter of intent to collaborate on an inception, signed by both partners, shall be uploaded in the application. Here is a template for LOI to use if you want.
- The inception team shall be listed in this form, and uploaded in the application.
- If your inception application is approved, the ICLD Project planning tool shall be used to plan your project during the inception.
Project
- Application questions – project
- The application questions mainly consist of the so called “Milestones” in the ICLD project planning tool that the parties should have used to plan their project. The completed project planning tool from each partner should be uploaded as part of the application.
- A Letter of intent to collaborate on a specific project, signed by both partners, shall be uploaded in the application. Here is a template of LOI to use if you want.
- The project team shall be listed in this form, and uploaded in the application.

Steering group
- Application questions – steering group
- A Memorandum of understanding to enter partnership, signed by both partners shall be uploaded in the application. Here is a template for MoU to use if you want.
- The steering group members shall be listed in this form, and uploaded in the application.
Expansion
- Application questions – expansion
- There shall be an active steering group running, during the expansion.
- The expansion team shall be listed in this form, and uploaded in the application.
- If your expansion application is approved, the ICLD Project planning tool shall be used to plan your project during the expansion.
Dissemination
- Application questions – dissemination
- The dissemination team shall be listed in this form, and uploaded in the application.
