Tshwaraganang – Library project, Year 2

Tshwaraganang, library project, year 2 is a continuation of a previous project focusing on library issues with the long term aim to develop the libraries to have a service delivery at the libraries that matches the needs of the citizens regardless of where they live.

The project aim has been to reach a deeper knowledge around the theory of library functions and its more practical implementation, with a special focus on raising the level of competence for each participant within their field of work.

The following areas have been in focus:

  • digital storytelling and cell phone services
  • mobile library services
  • integrated libraries.
