Intensified Russian – Swedish Cooperation

The purpose of the program is to strengthen the local level in Russia and in Sweden by establishing new forms of dynamic collaboration in project form between Russian and Swedish municipalities and county councils/regions. The intensive collaboration projects focus on one of the areas environmental/sustainability or the inclusion of persons with functional variations.

The target group is Russian and Swedish civil servants in local or regional governments who, through collaborative projects with municipalities and regions in the neighboring country, gain increased competence and capacity to create and maintain an equal and transparent service delivery with an increased citizen participation.

The following countries are eligible for the programme: Russia, Sweden.

The programme period: 2019-2021.

There is no application period for this programme since the current programme is a prolongation of 2016-2018 years cohort.
