Gender equality report launched with Advisory Group-meeting

ICLD is pleased to present its latest research report and policy brief on tools to implement SDG5 on gender equality, based on fieldwork from Bosnia and Herzegovina. This event will take place during the biannual meeting of ICLD’s Advisory Group on 6 November 2018 in the city of Novi Sad, capital of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Serbia.
The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion and workshop in which specially invited guests will participate. These include the authors of the report Prof. Annika Björkdahl and Ms Lejla Somun-Krupalija; the Deputy Head of Mission of the Swedish Embassy to Serbia, Mr Joachim Waern; and Ms Sonja Licht, President of the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence.
The Advisory Group along with staff from ICLD’s Knowledge Centre will take the opportunity to meet with officials from the City Assembly of Novi Sad; members of the Republic and Provincial Parliaments; representatives of the Social-democratic party of Serbia; members of the faculty from the University of Novi Sad; and other specially invited guests.
ICLD’s Knowledge Centre staff who will be in Novi Sad are Ana Maria Vargas Falla, PhD, Research Director; Malaika Mikaelsson, Research Coordinator; and Björn Möller, Quality Assurance Manager.
The Advisory Group of international and Swedish researchers which was set up in 2010, contributes its expertise and experience, and provides support in assessing the quality and relevance of research projects in ICLD.
