Apply for Gender Mainsteaming or Human Rights Based Approach
It is still possible to apply for ICLD’s International Training Programmes : Human Rights Based Approach and Gender Mainstreaming.
The applicant must be governmental official, politician or representative of a community-based organization. There are also selected countries that can apply.

Gender Mainstreaming
The programme is based on Agenda 2030 and the 17 sustainable development goals. A special focus is placed on goal #5 – gender equality. Every local government participating in the programme is therefore expected to carry out a change process using the gender mainstreaming method.
The following countries are eligible for the programme: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia.
The programme period: 2022-2023.
Human Rights Based Approach
The overall goal of the training is to strengthen the municipalities’ capacity and contribute to the ongoing and new change management processes designed to achieve socioeconomic development. The goal is also to strengthen the institutional capacity and the integration of a rights based thinking at local level and in the municipal service.
The following countries are eligible for the programme: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine.
The programme period: 2022-2023.
