N-AERUS is a pluridisciplinary network of researchers and experts working on urban issues in developing countries.
The 17th N-Aerus international conference, “Governing, planning and managing the city in an uncertain world”, will be held on 17-19 November at the School of Public Administration (Sprängkullsgatan 19). The conference is organised in collaboration with the School of Public Administration, the Swedish International Centre for Local Democracy (ICLD), the School of Business, Economics and Law, the School of Global Studies, Chalmers University of Technology, and Mistra Urban Futures.
ICLD’s Björn Möller and Håkan Magnusson will moderate one of the seminars on participation, and ICLD Advisory Group member, Dr Pamela Mbabazi, will present a paper.
The conference focuses on urban development and inclusive urban governance issues in cities of the Global south, but also includes contributions related to issues of mobility, migration, integration and segregation in global North cities. Ninety participants from all over the world, including academics, consultants, and civil servants, will attend the conference.
