Fjärde omgången av det populära och uppmärksammade utbildningsprogrammet i ICLD:s regi för toppolitiker som är kvinnor i Afrika, Asien och östra Europa möttes i Visby.

På besök i en politisk vardag i Sverige

Nu startar den andra veckan i Sverige för de 23 toppolitikerna från 12 olika länder i Afrika, Asien och Östeuropa som deltar i ICLD:s program ”Local Political Leders – Capacitating Women in Politics”.

In this Research Report No 8, Dr Andrew Siddle makes an analasys of the 2016 local government elections, the most significant elections to be held in South Africa at any level since 1994.

Deras verktygslåda har gjort succé

1999 skapades det första samarbetet mellan Göteborg och Nelson Mandela Bay i Sydafrika. Sedan dess har det blivit många lärorika projekt. 2012 beslutade de båda städerna sig för att ta samarbetet längre än tidigare.

Fördjupad förståelse för historien skapar bättre framtid

Kalmar länsmuseum har utvecklat tidsresemetodiken. Regionförbundet Kalmar län och Cape Winelands District i Sydafrika har använt metoden i sitt kommunala partnerskap.

International Training Programme - Inclusive Political Leadership

ICLD lanserar nu ett nytt utbildningsprogram kallat Inclusive Political Leadership. Programmet riktar sig till politiker på lokal nivå samt representanter för gräsrotsorganisationer som verkar på lokal nivå. Varje grupp ska bestå av 2-5 personer där minst en ska vara kvinna. I den första omgången vänder vi oss till deltagare från utsatta områden i städer i första hand.
